<p style="margin-left: 40px; text-align: left;">Developing a major masterplanned community like Kindira Monarch Glen over 30 years requires strategy, planning, commitment — and the right partners to help bring the project vision to life. </p>

<h3 style="margin-left: 40px;">Masterplan and housing</h3>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">Mirvac has over 50 years of experience developing masterplan communities, including the nearby <a href="https://everleigh.mirvac.com/">Everleigh </a>in Greenbank.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">Mirvac created the masterplan for Kindira, which outlines how each part of the site will be used. The Kindira masterplan was approved by Logan City Council in 2018, giving the green light for early works on site, paving the way for future housing and development.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">Mirvac is responsible for securing approvals for each phase of the masterplan and coordinating with government and delivery partners.<br />
Mirvac also manages the sale of land and is working with builders to deliver a display village. </p>

<h3 style="margin-left: 40px;">Infrastructure, traffic and parking</h3>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">Infrastructure includes roads, footpaths and civil services (electricity, water, sewerage and internet) required to service the community. Masterplan infrastructure is delivered by Mirvac in partnership with the State Government and Logan City Council. </p>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">Mirvac will fund Kindira’s internal roads, footpaths and services. Larger infrastructure projects are funded through infrastructure charges paid to the State Government, which support external roads and connecting services. Once complete, these works and services are maintained by the government.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">Infrastructure plans for Kindira are guided by traffic models produced by the State Government, which consider the population growth expected in the area.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">The number and placement of parking spaces is determined by residential development codes mandated by the state government. </p>

<h3 style="margin-left: 40px;">Parks and environment</h3>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">Mirvac will deliver 55 hectares of district sports and recreational parks throughout the project, with the designs to be finalised in consultation with Logan City Council and Economic Development Queensland (EDQ). Once complete, these assets will be handed to Logan City Council for maintenance.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">About 40 per cent of Kindira (approximately 400 hectares) will be preserved as conservation bushland. With relevant approvals, Mirvac will create walking trails throughout the nature reserves and gift the land to Logan City Council for community access.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">Any clearing on site is approved under the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act and will be offset through the rehabilitation of 1,100 hectares of high value vegetation.</p>

<h3 style="margin-left: 40px;">Education</h3>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">Kindira’s masterplan includes a new state primary school and state high school. Both schools will be funded and delivered by the Queensland Department of Education.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">The primary school is expected to be delivered in the earlier stages of the community, followed by a secondary school in the future stages.</p>

<p style="margin-left: 40px;">Community is the cornerstone of all Mirvac developments.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">Mirvac has partnered with <a href="http://enrichingcommunities.com.au/">Enriching Communities</a>, an award-winning community engagement group, which organises regular events and activities for locals in and around Monarch Glen. Enriching Communities is also active in Mirvac’s Everleigh community in Greenbank and Gainsborough Greens community in Pimpama.
